In a city suffering from a terrible drought, water is so scarce that everyone has to pay to use the potty. When one idealistic kid dares to stand up to the greedy company that runs the toilets, a revolution flushes into motion.
Filled with sharp humor, big ensemble numbers, and a wink at every musical you’ve ever loved, Urinetown is a fast, funny satire about power, people, and standing up for what’s right… even when the odds (and the plumbing) are against you.

CAMP DESCRIPTION
at a glance
Your kids will sing, dance, and act during the three weeks, culminating in three final performances. All campers will audition to be matched with their role.
Kids will also be measured for their costume on the audition day. Costumes will be provided, except for a few basics that we will ask you to obtain. For example, a basic pair of pants, undergarment, shoes, etc.
Then it's show time!! All the kids have such a blast and become great friends and a little family so quickly.

AUDITIONS
Audition to be matched with a role.
Registration confirms a role in the cast.
Audition material sent to you after registration.
Interested in a role in the other camp’s show, MATILDA?
Students may audition for select roles outside their age group.
Students who register for their own age group are automatically cast in that camp’s show. Those wishing to audition for a role in the opposite age group’s production must audition and be accepted.

Refundable Costume Deposit
There is a refundable $75 costume deposit required in addition to your tuition. This costume deposit will be refunded to you after the safe return of the costume(s) after the final performance.

EARLY DROP OFF

If you would like to drop off your child early, you can as early as 8am at Menchies Frozen Yogurt. At about 10:15 am, the early drop offs are walked to the theatre which is a short 5 min walk (0.2mi).
Early Drop Off is an add on to camp.
$300 per child for Early Drop off.
Volunteers
It takes a village to put on a show. Not only the kids become a family, but their parents and guardians often become part of the family as well.
We will be requesting volunteer help in the following areas, but not limited to:

Lobby Volunteer on Show Day
*Show day volunteers may reserve their seat(s) for the show. More info available.
*We need daily rehearsal volunteer chaperones. This is the only volunteer position that will reduce/eliminate your tuition fee, pending how many days you commit to. We do ask for individuals that can commit to the full duration of rehearsals. A background check will be required. Email for more details. The rehearsal chaperone volunteer positions are limited.
