Auditions can feel imtimidating, but they don't have to be. In this three-hour workshop, students will learn how to walk into an audition room with confidence and preparation.

Led by Worklight instructors and industry professionals, students will explore every step of the audition process, from entering the room to performing their material and leaving a lasting impression.

Students will work with provided monologues and song selections, or they may bring their own prepared 16-32 bar cut and/or monologue. Live piano accompaniment will be provided.

During this workshop, students will:

  • Build confidence and stage presence

  • Strengthen speaking and presentation skills

  • Learn how to prepare for an audition

  • Discover how to choose appropriate audition material

  • Practice performing in front of others in a supportive environment

  • Learn audition etiquette -- from walking in the door to leaving the room

  • Receive guidance from working theater professionals

This is a safe, supportive space for students to grow, take risks, and learn valuable skills that apply both onstage and beyond.

Students will leave with practical audition tools, stronger confidence, and a clearer understanding of how to succeed in the audition room.

Space is limited.
